Where This Comes From
I’ve spent most of my career in imaging.
Starting in film, I spent 30 years at Eastman Kodak in the Entertainment Imaging division where I worked as a cinematographer, testing motion picture film stocks as they moved through design and development.

Over time, the tools changed, but the fundamentals didn’t. Light, expression, composition, and the small details that affect how someone comes across in an image.
Headshots became a natural extension of that. It’s still about the same things, just applied more personally.

I photograph professionals and teams, creating headshots that feel natural, approachable, and professional.

For individuals, the goal is usually to create an image that feels authentic without making the process complicated or uncomfortable. The approach can be adjusted depending on the look someone wants to present.

For teams, it’s about creating consistency without losing individuality. Everyone still looks like themselves, while the overall look stays polished and cohesive across websites, LinkedIn profiles, and company materials.
The People I Photograph

What Matters in the Frame
Most people don’t feel completely at ease in front of a camera. That's normal.
I keep things simple and pay attention to what’s actually happening in front of the camera. Small adjustments, expression, posture, where the light is doing the work and where it isn’t.

When those pieces come together, the image feels natural. Not overworked, not forced.
That’s the goal, whether it’s one person or a full team.

It matters that it feels right. That’s what I’m after.
