Hi, I’m Chris Hart. I started TrueYou Headshots because I believe a great headshot should look like you—just on your best day. I know it can feel awkward being in front of a camera, so I focus on creating a relaxed, low-pressure environment where people feel at ease and actually enjoy the experience (yes, really!).

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a kid, thanks to my dad. After studying film and photography at RIT, I spent 30 years as a cinematographer at Eastman Kodak in research & development, then freelanced and worked with creative agencies for another decade—including a turn as director of photography on an indie feature film.

All of that led me here—to helping real people look polished, confident and totally themselves in front of the camera.

​

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably in my workshop, hanging out with my four kids or spending time with my five amazing grandkids.
